I wanted this heart to transcend anatomy, becoming a character in its own right—animated by emotion, surrounded by surreal biomorphic forms that reflect the turbulence of our inner lives. The colors clash and flow like feelings colliding in a moment of emotional release. In this chaos, there is honesty, and in that honesty, a kind of healing.
